Through trails and old roads this route leads us to the unpopulated village of Susín, offering us from there an unbeatable view of the Tierra de Biescas.
Gateway to the mountains of Sobrepuerto, Susín is listed as the last town in the area to be depopulated, although it has never been abandoned because its owners have always attended.
For some years now and at the initiative of the association Mallau, various volunteers devote part of their leisure time to the rehabilitation of the environment (roads, walls, fields, orchards, forest cleaning...) making this town and surroundings a wonderful place that transports us to the past.
Once we leave Susín, another point of interest to which we will arrive is the Torraza de Lárrede, located on a spur from which it dominates visually all the eastern bank of the river Gállego. From here, the return journey begins.
The route is very entertaining and continuously combines sections of ascents and descents, crossing areas of cultivated fields, ravines and forests. It also passes through churches, hermitages, inhabited villages and others already in ruins.
